How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data from The Yard, you can do so by sending an email to privacy@thecollegeyard.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

What to Include

Please include the following in your request:

• The email address associated with your account
• Your full name as it appears on your profile
• A brief statement requesting data deletion

What We Delete

Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

• Your profile information (name, email, bio, university, profile photo)
• Social media connections and associated analytics data
• Campaign history and application data
• Messages and communications
• Any uploaded content (portfolio items, resumes, documents)
• Authentication credentials

Processing Time

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Third-Party Data

If you connected third-party accounts (such as Instagram or TikTok) to The Yard, we will delete the data we stored from those services. To revoke access from the third-party platform itself, please visit that platform's settings directly.
